  • Wander Brewing is working on a spelt saison in one of it’s foeders.
  • Today, Wander Brewing releases a cask of Pilsner with Ethiopian Yabitu Koba coffee beans from their friends at Camber Coffee out of Bellingham.
  • Melvin Brewing will start serving food in the bar area.
  • Boundary Bay released its famed Citra Weisse in cans and will be available in the coming days at grocery stores around Bellingham. 4.5%ABV. It’s a kettle-soured Berliner-style Weiss brewed with 100% local malt from Skagit Valley Malting. A hefty dry-hop of Citra with a citrusy punch.
  • Structures Brewing is releasing “No Sleep” in cans and draft today. Coffee vanilla stout at 7.25% ABV. Coffee is from Bellingham’s Primer Coffee on Holly St. $16 a four pack. No limit. More on Coffee + Beer in Bellingham, here.
  • Chuckanut Brewery is offering a free tour of it’s South Nut location on Saturday, starting at 12pm
  • Not only is Aslan releasing Simcoe Slice today (see below), it is pouring Fraises du Bois, a saison, and a barrel aged Whiskey Ginger at Washington Brewers Fest this weekend.

A brand new offering brewed with rare Barbe Rouge hops courtesy of France. The Barbe Rouge Pale is unique, balanced and drinkable with notes of strawberry, bright citrus flavors, with a clean hoppy finish. A special thanks is in order to our friends over at Aslan Brewing Company for helping us get our hands on these exclusive hops as we may be the first two breweries on the West Coast to brew with them!

Simcoe Slice

IPA 7.7% ABV
Medium body + dank pine + heady fruit
This double dry hopped Simcoe forward IPA is accentuated with fruity notes of strawberries, lychee and guava. Simcoe Slice is intense, yet balanced.
