CraftBeer.com just released the winners from their “Great American Beer Bar” competition. Tacoma’s Parkway Tavern took the honors in Washington State.
Unfortunately, the newest awards for greatness are all wrong because not a single Bellingham beer bar took the honors of Best Washington Beer Bar. While we support all of these bars and the competition was surely stiff, we don’t agree with this list. All great things stem from Bellingham and we would like a recount. Full stop.
But Park Way Tavern is a pretty sweet location, even if it’s not in Bellingham. It recently celebrated it’s 80th Anniversary. They offer 31 rotatint taps and have customers that have been coming there for 10 or 20 years. Seems like it has quite a bit of culture to it, for sure! Here’s video to get to know it more:

Methodology: CraftBeer.com readers were asked to nominate their favorite craft beer bar in their state and fill out a short survey about what makes it so great including atmosphere, staff, beer selection and special events. Craft beer fans cast over 9,000 votes in total from August to December 2015.
