Bellingham Area Breweries Win 23 medals at WA Beer Awards

It’s award season, which means we get to bask in the glory of how amazing our town is when it comes to craft beer. It’s clear that we live in a constantly growing US craft beer destination city, but seeing the breweries we know and love become recognized for the great beer they are making is a reward in and of itself. This year, 1,467 entries were evaluated by a team of 78 judges. Bellingham was well represented, taking home nearly 20 medals. Here are some of your local favorites that won medals this last weekend at Marymoor:

Congratulations to our very own Chuckanut Brewery for taking home the big guy, Large Brewery of the Year! Chuckanut is year after year a very well-decorated brewery when it comes to taking home medals for classic beers we all have the privilege of enjoying at home.
