Bellingham breweries represent in 2019 North American Beer Awards

In the end of May, the North American Brewers Association holds their International Beer Awards Excellence in Brewing competition in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Qualified judges taste thousands of beers, ciders, meads and sodas. This year, Bellingham breweries took home a few medals of their own. Here’s the Bellingham brews that we all know and love that won big at the 2019 NABAs.

Chuckanut Brewery

It was no surprise to see Chuckanut take home six medals for their lagering successes. They have some of their winners on draft at both North and South Nut so make sure you swing by to taste one of their multi-award winning lagers while the victory is fresh!

Kulshan Brewing Company

Kulshan took home a couple medals for one of their always-popular fruited goses. They also won a Bronze for their refreshing Helles! Congratulations, Kulshan!

Melvin Brewing Bellingham

Wander Brewing

Wander took home a variety of medals from NABA this year. Most notably their Oud Bruin! Wander recently celebrated 5 years of being open, and won the 2018 WA Large Brewery of the Year.
