We’re snobby. We’re discerning. We have amazing beer culture. Now we’re considered one of the best in the West. Kendall Jones, who runs Washington Beer Blog, Bellingham wrote the list for USA Today. The list included such venerated beer meccas as Portland, Seattle, Bend, Santa Rosa and San Diego. What amazing company we hold! Thanks Kendall.

This is what he wrote about us

Bellingham, Washington

Conveniently located between Vancouver and Seattle, Bellingham is home to six breweries, which is nice, but that is only one of the reasons it made the list. A recent study revealed this to be the very worst place in America to get bad beer. It is damn-near impossible to find Bud Light, Coors Light or any other big-brand beer in this craft-crazy town. Don’t miss Chuckanut Brewery, one of America’s most highly decorated brewers of traditional European-style lagers, and Boundary Bay Brewing, which is about to celebrate its 20th anniversary.

What he didn’t mention is the growth we’re experiencing. So many breweries are heading our way, that we’re pushing the bounds of beer capacity, or are we? Where will it all end?
