The 2016 Bootlegger Barrel Series will be released at the Winter Solstice Bottle Release Party scheduled for 6 p.m. on Wednesday, December 21 in The Mountain Room at Boundary Bay.
Boundary Bay Brewery is releasing six beers from the series: Siren, Sea Bear, Arethusa, Bretta Whiskey Fever and two variations of the Imperial Oatmeal Stout.
“We started the Bootlegger Barrel Series in 2014 hoping to impart exquisite avors on already delicious handcrafted brews,” Boundary Bay Owner Ed Bennett says. “So far, the journey exceeds our expectations, but has also allowed for intriguing experimentation.”
The evening also marks an exclusive opportunity to purchase wax-dipped 22 oz. bottles of the Imperial Oatmeal Stout and corked 750 ml. bottles of Bretta Whiskey Fever.
Live music will be performed by The Elopements, a local music group, throughout the evening. Boundary Bay Catering will be providing complimentary light appetizers.
The New Mountain Room is located at 1103 Railroad Ave. The event is free to attend.
