Well, most of you have known for a while, but it’s not official until the press release. Chuckanut Brewery, has officially opened it’s second brewing facility in Skagit County. We reported on this back in November of 2015 when they had just broken ground.

The new brewery is open at 11937 Higgins Airport Way, Burlington

The brewery is near Skagit’s famous “Brewing Zone” that includes the Flyers Brewing Company, WSU Bread Lab, Skagit Valley Malting, Skagit Valley College Brewing Academy and the rumored location of the new location from the former Jester King owners.

The brewery is a 20bbl system with capacity to brew 13,000bbl at full capacity. The system sits in the 8,000sqft building and gives the world famous brewery room for more bottling. The current brewery in Bellingham, is a 10bbl system. South Nut is an all ages establishment, so bring the family. Mari Kemper also asked me to tell you all that South Nut will be serviced by a number of food trucks, that we’ve now added to our comprehensive Food Truck Calendar.

Wednesdays: Vagabond Southern Foods @ 3-7 pm
Fridays: Pizzaza Pizza @ noon-7pm
Saturdays: Rock n Rollin Eats @ noon-7 pm
