On August 10th and 11th Hundred North and Atwood Ales are partnering to offer a unique experience – a field dinner hosted at Atwood Ales’ 100 year old farm brewery in Blaine, WA.
50 people per night will enjoy a multi-course meal, with 10 pairings of local fare prepared by Chef Todd Alan Martin with 5 beers from Atwood Brewers Josh and Monica Smith. The brewers will discuss their beers and the pairings.
Field dinners allow diners to experience the connection between their food and the land in a unique way – a shock to the system where we’re removed from our normal settings and given the opportunity to dine where our food is grown. A revolutionary act in our modern, tech-driven society.
Tickets are $125, with transportation to and from the event provided. Diners will enjoy food prepared over open fires and ovens which will be specially constructed for the event. Both the dishes and beer will feature ingredients from the site and nearby farms, and guests will dine in Atwood’s perfectly manicured hop field.
