In a recent poll, Bellingham Tap Trail asked readers what your least favorite beer was. In a surprising turn of events Bellingham answered “IPA”. We understand that controversy surrounds these results and we’d like to take a moment to assure our loyal readers that every single Bellingham Tap Trail poll is structured and administered with the utmost attention to the scientific method. Here’s a photo of our crack team of researchers working on constructing the poll.
With that being said, IPA is officially Bellingham’s LEAST favorite beer.
When we put the poll up Menace Brewing committed to brewing the winner (loser?) of the poll. Menace just informed us that they will be tapping Bellingam’s LEAST favorite beer that they are calling “Denial IPA”, on Monday April 13th at The Local. Let us gather around and celebrate our mutual hate for IPA…by drinking mass quantities of it. The Bellingham Tap Trail crew will be there with schwag to give away. Come revel in the hate. Event site is here!
Rob from Menace says,
Monday, April 13th, we will be releasing what we’ve named “Bellingham’s Denial IPA” by Menace Brewing. Setting forth a chain of events with BTT’s poll to find which beer style Bellingham beer lovers dislikes the most, Menace took to the challenge to brew Bellingham’s Least Favorite Beer Style. This American style IPA is hoppy and balanced, bittered with Magnum hops and then finished and dry hopped with Cascade, Armarillo and Citra hops. What could become Menace’s full time IPA, Bellingham’s Denial will be a fun treat for the beer lovers and haters out there.
What: Release of Bellingham’s LEAST Favorite Beer Release, “Denial IPA”
