New Belgium Brewing Collaborating with Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream to Brew ‘Salted Caramel Brownie Brown Ale’

This is pretty self explanatory. The folks at New Belgium Brewing are teaming up with Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream, the masters of expanding the boundaries of ice cream, and will be brewing a Salted Caramel Brownie Brown Ale, available in 22oz Fall 2015. It will be 6.3%. From our friends at Beer Street Journal

The chocolate-y brown ale initially looks to benefit, or at least create awareness for Protect Our Winters, an organization founded by pro snowboarder Jeremy Jones. The organization seeks to lessen the impact of climate change on America’s snow laden mountains.

When two B Corps come together, delicious ideas are created. Our mutual dedication to using business as a force for good means you get to enjoy this brown ale laden with the chocolatey, salted-caramel, vanilla goodness while helping Protect Our Winters combat climate change. Dig in!

I’m not all that excited about a Brown Ale, but I’ll be buying one to store for posterity.
