It’s another Friday and it’s looking like a beauty. My weather app says it’s supposed to clear up right aroooound….happy hour!! Perfect time to get out and check these out. After work is also acceptable.
We suggest grabbing that Tap Trail Passport and getting to work on stamping today! Alright, there’s a few new beers out in the last week, so here they are!
The latest in their fruited sour series! I had this yesterday. Might be my favorite from their series. It was tart like the others, but not quite as much. Great balanced cherry flavor.
7.1% ABV // 38 IBU // 1.065 OG
big body + tropical + balanced
This special beer was created in collaboration with our organic brothers to the south, Elliott Bay Brewing Co. It is a strong American Pale Ale with Nugget, Simcoe, and Amarillo hops used the boil kettle, and then generous amounts of Amarillo and Mosaic for dry hopping. The use of English Pale malt enhances the body, while a combination of London and American Ale yeasts provide complexity, enhancing the fruity overtones of the Simcoe and Amarillo hops. With notes of papaya and pineapple, this beer is tropical on the nose & tongue.
Hops: Amarillo, Mosaic, Nugget, Simcoe
Malt: Caramunich, Carafa, Munich, Marris Otter
Not a new beer, but a change, nonetheless. Aslan put their nitro back on tap. Every few week’s they’ll apply it to a new style. Word on the street it was on their Red last. Who knows where next?!
This is an Amarillo Pale and it’s taking the place of their vaunted Iteration (which I loved!) Not to worry though, according to Owner, James Alexander, this beer is “Beautiful.” I’ll be in to taste the beauty today.
