April, you’re looking GOOOD! This weather has me antsy for patios and pints. The number of beers released in the last week aren’t as numberable, but there are some important notes to make on this edition of Tap Roundup.

  1. The Boundary Bay Brewery deck is officially open and it’s glorious! I just had a pint with the Boundary brewers
about a new joint Tap Trail project we’re brewing up. The deck is nice as ever.
  2. Structures Brewing started their new summer hours. See below.
  3. Chuckanut Brewery has brand new shirts and I think they are badass. See below.
  4. Kulshan Brewery is releasing new tap handles and I love them. See below.

4.7% ABV // 20 IBU // 1.050 OG

medium body + toffee notes + clean

This special creation comes to you from the mind of Jenn Tadder, the Bellingham Homebrewers Guild 2015 Homebrewer of the Year. In addition to some new hardware for her trophy shelf, Jenn won the opportunity to brew a collaboration beer with our Masterbrewer, Frank, and will enter it as Bellingham’s first Pro-Am entry in the Washington Beer Awards! The result is a delicately malty beer with notes of toffee, a soft bitterness, and a clean, refreshing finish.

Hops: Hallertau, Sterling
Malt: C-60, Carafa, Munich, Pilsner, Vienna
