Not too many beers over the past week or so, but some exciting tidbits to announce!
A New Brewery?
We’ve been told by multiple reliable sources that Melvin Brewing is moving to Bellingham. It will either be a brewery, or a just a taproom and it’s uncertain if it’s the brewery itself OR employees of the brewery. Rumors have it that they are moving into either a location on James St. OR on Meridian, in the old Bike Sport location. We have emails and phone calls into those that know, including Melvin Brewing, and we’ll report back when we have more!
Melvin will add to an already growing list of Bellingham breweries. We have more details on the way! Stay tuned! But the real question is do we want more breweries?
- Kulshan Brewery is now hiring a Tap Room Manager and Production Staff for their ever expanding brewery.
- Structures Brewing has started taking plastic and is no longer “cash only.” Also, they will also have a whole new tap lineup by this weekend.
- Aslan Brewing has gone international! They have moved distribution into the Vancouver, BC market on May 13th.
- Wander Brewing started bottling on it’s new bottling line and they’ll have more beers available soon.
There has been much ado about this beer. Make sure you head on down to grab a pint for yourself!
On tap for this Mother’s Day weekend. Brewed with 700 grams of zest from honey gold grapefruits, and the juice from 110 pounds of the same grapefruits. Fermented in our oak fermenters, and conditioned with a simple amount of hibiscus.
