Ron Extract, formerly of Jester King Brewery, visited our fair city last week. We were supposed to meet up with him, but our paths didn’t cross. He did stop by a handful of breweries though. Regardless, we’re excited for whatever direction they may go with their proposed brewery in Skagit.
- Elizabeth Station is hosting its first Sour Fest Preview, tonight. All in preparation for the big Sour Fest on July 30th!
- Boundary Bay Brewery shutdown at 3pm yesterday due to a family medical emergency. Our thoughts are with them and the entire Boundary crew. Make sure you go support them today.
- Jeremy of Melvin Brewing (Bellingham’s next brewery!) reached out to Tap Trail. Melvini is teaming up with Kulshan, Boundary Bay, Wander, Aslan, Chuckanut and Bellingham’s Tourism Board for an event at this year’s Great American Beer Festival.
- Aslan Brewing and Bellingham Beer Lab are working on a collaboration.
- Structures is ramping up production and we’ll start to see a lot more barrel blends from them the coming weeks.
- Bellingham’s breweries are part of the Bellingham Energy Prize Challenge (story next week!)
