CopperHog300Tap Trail met up for pints with Bellingham Beer Week organizer, Aaron Matson, who also owns the Copper Hog. We all agreed that to make Bellingham Beer Week everything it could be – and more! – Tap Trail should team take the reigns of Bellingham’s premiere craft beer event. So that’s what is happening!

Tap Trail is taking over various functions of Bellingham Beer Week (BBW), such as sponsorships, marketing, promotion, PR, sales, website development, branding, and coordination.

It just makes sense that we combine because Tap Trail is the leader in Bellingham beer news. – Aaron Matson, Owner of Copper Hog

We’re excited to be collaborating with Matson on sponsorships, design, coordination and marketing. A new website will be coming your way very soon, with a nifty calendar for all those amazing events Bellingham’s breweries and taphouses throw in honor of BBW.

Heads up! We’re also looking for varying levels of sponsorship. We’ll be reaching out to interested parties, but if your business would benefit from the increased exposure Tap Trail brings to this already awesome craft beer and community event, that pulls people in from across the region, please, contact us!

This year’s Bellingham Beer Week takes place September 9th – 18th. That’s 10 days of Bellingham beer goodness flowing through our streets and into your pints. There will be so many events across the Tap Trail including brewery tours, special tastings, competitions, tap takeovers and so much more. This is Bellingham’s opportunity to let its craft beer community shine and show the region why we’re so unique.

Tap Trail will be the title sponsor of BBW’s culminating event, Session Fest. You also will be able to enjoy another year of Barleywood Squares, where all your favorite Bellingham brewing celebrities will have their craft beer knowledge tested in a battle of crafty wits. Be on the lookout for our new merchandise, including t-shirts and coozies.

We have some pretty exciting ideas for the future of Bellingham Beer Week. We’re looking forward to what this event can provide for Bellingham and our local craft beer community. With the combined efforts of Tap Trail, Bellingham Beer Week is heading in the direction we all want to see it go, UP!

Be on the lookout for updates and more details, very soon!
