The good folks at The Local are hosting their 2nd Annual Home Brewers Competition. I spoke with Ben Buccarrelli of Menace Brewing and The Local. He says this year’s competition will be much more legitimate and and will be very competitive.
“Instead of having brewers submit their recipes, we will give them a recipe to brew. It will weed out those that have mastered a few recipes and showcase those that really have brewing chops!”, says Buccarelli.

It is my pleasure to announce that we will be hosting the 2nd annual Local Brewers Cup over the coming months! Sign up for the competition has officially started and will close June 20th. This will be a BJCP sanctioned event and will follow the format of last year with random beer selection from the BJCP style guidelines.
