2016 is all wrapped up. We drank lots of beers and in drinking them, I’m fairly certain our tastes evolved and developed. Or did they? What did you drink that you want to try more of? What don’t you see enough of on the Tap Trail?

IPAs have dominated, if not carried the growth of craft beer. At some point that might change.

We want to know – and I think it would help our breweries to know – what you like and don’t like. I went through and picked various beer styles. If you don’t see the style you want, don’t freak out, just type it into “Other.” If a certain style gets enough support I’ll add it to the list.

Side Note: I’m sure some of you will get annoyed that I made “New England IPA” a style for this. Technically, it’s not an official BJCP style or recognized as one by the BA, but it has become one of the most popular IPA iterations and, as far as I’m concerned, is a style, for the purposes of this poll. Learn more about the New England IPA, also called a Vermont IPA, here. A few Bellingham breweries have brewed up a version, but the most prominent brewer of it, locally, is Structures Brewing. Think The Alchemist, Hill Farmstead, Tired Hands, etc.
