Washington State has 275 breweries, the 2nd most breweries, behind California (431). Washington State has, arguably, the best breweries in the nation – Beer for beer. We’re pretty neato. There are many more breweries on the way, not to mention all those popping up in Bellingham in the next 6-9 months. According to Puget Sound Business Journal, Washington State’s breweries have doubled capacity in the past four years. Bellingham’s Boundary Bay Brewing Company  is at 17. Keep in mind that once Kulshan’s K2 is up and running at full capacity, they will be the 5th or 6th highest producing brewery in the state.
